I am writing this in the hope that somebody out there can help me…
Yesterday I posted a blog on my trip to see the Gorillas, which I am sure many of you have read…
Today when I posted a new update, something went haywire with either the website or I did something that overwrote my story on the Gorillas… The post has disappeared from my website….
I am hoping that somebody out there might have printed the story and can fax it to me so that I can rewrite and reload it…
If not, then I’m afraid the posting is lost for good…

Hi Ron, I am so sorry to hear about the Gorilla article, please don’t give up on the website, to some of us it is a lifeline. Try to contact WordPress (Ithink that is you you are with), they sometimes remove a posting if “someone” reports it. send them a message they should be abale to retrieve it, has happened to me in the past.

The morning you wrote the post there was no cache on google. After seeing Andrew’s note on your blog I checked again. I found the cache. Was able to resurrect all the HTML, with some fiddling around Google’s search results formatting (keyword highlighting and others) I was able to retrieve your post, format it and call up all the images you posted. saving you lots of headaches. I guess there’ll be a nice Bottle of Turkish wine waiting for me when I meet you in Istanbul or Italy sometime soon!
