Message to the Minister….

I’ve been going on about those pothole signs in recent posts and I finally found a road sign that we can use here !! So I’ll be sending a short message to our Ministers who loudly proclaim to be responsible for our roads and transport….

You see, Minister, just tell it like it is....!!! None of this "Potholes for 5km crap !!! Get those signs changed before I get back....

And while I’m on the subject of signs, I think there are a few they should consider changing, or removing altogether before our visitors for the World Cup arrive…

...becuase I own all the panelbeaters in town....

This one hardly inspires confidence in our Medical Facilities….

Maybe they should add the word "Serious" in front of the "Casualty" part...

And this one has too much information…. “Bumpy road” should suffice….

This one needs more thought, Minister… It might be construed as a form of entertainment, or worse still, that we have little regard for the physically handicapped…

… This one below needs to be changed as well… It’s a common error, I know… They ARE very similar in appearence…

Ok.... Let's see.... Maybe it was the fact that they both have four legs that caused the confusion.... I can see how that can happen...

Africa….. You gotta LOVE it, Dudes !!!!

LOL…. Ron these are brilliant and SOOO South Africa. You had me in stiches. You have to love this country of ours if for anything but the humour that is we graciously pay for through our taxes. Ride Safe.

  • Thanks Lee !! I will post others as I come across them on the journey and hope you get a kick out of those as well !! The world is full of unintended humour, you just have to take the time to find it…. Ronnie

Hilarious, maybe Julius Malema authorised those signs.

  • Ha !! Glad you’re enjoying the read, Ake !! I am longing to get back on the road and re-aquaint myself with the freedom that long distance riding brings… In less than 2 months I will be back on the road again !! Can’t wait !! R.
