SMS / Text Message Log

I decided to keep a record of some of the text messages I sent and received whilst on my journey and the replies I received….

After my “test run” to Nata in November, I sent the following message to friends:

Nov 11th Chief Broken Arse home safe on iron horse! 964,3kms today! What a blast! Now me take triple firewater with ice, and soon visit land of dreams…

To which Renske Verwey replied:

Ah, Chief Broken Arse earns much respect from tribe members without Iron Horse!! Dreams will be good, glad you’re safe…

Hereunder are the updates I sent to various friends and family to advise of my current positions and the places I was going to and had come from…..
