Getting into the "swing of things" in Bali...!!
I am traveling in Bali with friends, and not only is internet connection scarce, but signal strength is a problem too…
It will be some time before I am able to resume “normal” communication and will update the site when and if I can…
I am still working on the last two “old posts” that cover Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, and will publish them when I get a gap…
I am hoping to remain on Bali for some time to come, as I still need to “back-track” to Java, before heading to East Timor…
This involves another visit to Immigration to renew my visa and confirm that the Big Fella gets to stay too…!!
A special person I recently met has reminded me that “Australia isn’t going any place soon…” and with that in mind, I have taken my hand off the throttle so to speak…!!
Normal service will resume when I have seen and experienced all that Bali has to offer…!!

Please watch your baggage in Bali and don’t leave it unattended. Also please don’t try something offered to you that seems a bit strange. Bali has many Westerners in its prison cells who have been set up or caught out for relatively minor offences in our countries but which receive life sentences or the death sentence there. Just have fun, but watch yourself at all times.

Darn!!! This waiting game is difficult!!! It is really hard going cold turkey and not being able to read any updates on your travells for such a long time. Can’t wait till you get to a place with decent internet reception again.
