I have arrived in Esperance, about 610 km due east of Walpole…
On my arrival, I brought my data and mileage spreadsheet up to date and discovered that I have now covered EXACTLY 100 000 km since leaving home…!! This includes all forms of transport on all surfaces…!!
Who would have thunk that Mrs. Borrageiro’s little boy had it in him…!!
Outside the Blue Waters Lodge, just a few metres off the beach at Esperance...!!
The most important to me however, are the kilometres I log up on the Big Fella, and to date he has carried me 75 175 km on this trip alone, and 115 215 km in total…!! And he tells me that he is just getting started…!!
He is currently running as sweet as a nut after his recent service, and the traffic officers who stopped me today to inquire why I was doing 99 km/h in an 80 km zone, thought so too…!!
So impressed were they with the Big Fella’s explanation, that they let him go with only a warning…!! He can be such a sweet talker when he isn’t growling…!!
