Patricia and I have been inundated with messages of congratulations and goodwill, for all of which we are sincerely grateful…
We have decided to share an assortment of our wedding day photos with the many thousands of people who have followed my exploits over the past three years, and who have given me so much encouragement and support…
We were married on Friday the 14th of September, on Sandy Hook Beach and held our reception at the Sea-Gulls Nest restaurant just a few yards away…

…the beautiful bride prepares to make her way to the ceremony on Sandy Hook as well… in a more conventional mode of transport…!!

Our good friends, Lynn, Vanessa and Joey were responsible for decorating the tables at our venue…. Thanks guys, you did us proud…!!

Made in Bali… This huge fan was given to Patricia and I by Eka… A wonderful reminder of where we met…!!

The Big Fella could not stay out of the picture for too long… After all, it was he who had delivered me safely to my bride, almost 80 000 km since leaving Bali in August 2011…

Patricia listens with apprehension, as I begin my toast… I kept it all above board…for the most part anyway…!!

And then was time to head for home, just a little worse for wear… And nobody mentioned the sets of stairs I would encounter a few seconds later… fortunately, the Big Fella was sober…!!

By 2.00 am the next morning, we were still in our kitchen, celebrating with the friends who had stayed with us… And Patricia was still in fine form…!! Here she is giving her “bashful” impression…
Tomorrow morning we set off on our honeymoon and I am looking forward to being reunited with family and friends who I have not seen in almost three years…
The Big Fella was rather disgruntled when he discovered that I was going home without him…for now anyway…!!

“Soooo… Let me see if I understand this correctly… I carry you around the world, for almost three years, and for more than 185 000 km, and now you’re going home WITHOUT me…?? AND, to make matters worse, leaving me here with only these BICYCLES to talk to…?? Have you lost your mind…??”…
Hope you enjoyed the photos, and am looking forward to showing you what we got up to in South Africa…
I’m coming home, and bringing my bride with me…!!

It was a great time and we are so pleased we could be there to support you on this BIG day. We love you and there is one thing for sure … we will ride together again one day. Have fun in S Africa.
